“Your body is your temple; your food is your sacrifice."
Ayurveda teaches us to live in harmony with ourselves, others, and the environment to achieve true well-being. Ayurveda originated in India over 3,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda comes from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). This year more than 150 countries around the globe had geared up for Ayurveda Day that was celebrated around the theme-Ayurveda Innovations for Global Health. The students of Class 5B presented an assembly on the theme ‘World Ayurveda Day’ on 29 October 2024. Students shared some historical facts about Ayurveda and a few homemade Ayurvedic remedies for certain common diseases. The assembly was appreciated and applauded by all.
